My sleep situation has improved, I cut out the daily cat naps & I doubled my melatonin intake before bed. And stopped the caffeine late in the day!
Friday’s WOD sucked. I feel so wimpy and easily fatigued still. I’m trying to be patient and let my body get used to the increase in training intensity and change in my diet. BLAH!
Workout: As many rounds as possible in 20 min.:
5rep of thrusters at 65lbs.
7rep of hang cleans at 65lbs.
10 reps of sumo dead lift high pull at 65lbs.
I got about halfway done and my shoulders were on fire. Almost feels like I have tendonitis?! WTH? So I stripped the weight and finished with 45lbs.
Completed 9 rounds. I sat down on the floor after. Something I rarely do.
Then……..a CFE
6x400m sprint- I was so dead from the WOD this REALLY sucked…and so did my times.

Nutrition:
B- Protein shake (protein powder, banana, water)
S- 6 tbs Avacado/1c melon/1oz turkey (8oz. Gatorade post workout)
L- 3oz turkey/1c squash/1c berries/1/2 small protein bar (pretty sad that this tasted like an effing snickers!!! Haha) 9 almonds
S-3 hard boiled eggs/9 almonds/6 mac nuts/1 small apple/1c carrots raw
D- Protein shake/1/2 small avocado/1c melon & blue berries/ 1sq 85%
We went to the Harley Charity event where there were hot dogs, burgers, and beer galore! It’s not even that tempting anymore. Its kinda like I know what I want, and I know what I gotta do to get there. And it sure doesn’t involve wieners, burgers, and beer!
